Aroma and Flavor Molecules

These are professional components used in the Flavor and Fragrance Industry.

They are single molecules, not blends, and are not diluted except where specified. These are not "perfume oils", which are prediluted blends of these components. They are single molecules used in advanced professional perfumery. They are meant to be diluted before applying to the skin, these are not "ready to apply" products.

Some are crystals or solids which will require dilution, melting, and/or further processing before use.

Due to the concentration of these materials, many of them smell very different based on their dilution and what they are blended with. For proper scent-assessment, they should be diluted to roughly their finished product strength. Some of them do not have much scent at all, but instead affect a perfume in ways that are not experienced when smelled on their own.

The CAS number is a unique identifier for each molecule. FEMA (Flavor and Extract Manufacturer's Association) numbers are assigned to molecules that are used in both the Flavor and Fragrance Industry. Please be aware that the presence of a FEMA # does not necessarily mean the product we have is food-grade. If we do not state that it is food grade on the description, please contact us before purchasing for that purpose.

Most odor descriptions come from the manufacturer and are subjective. Please purchase the smallest size if you are unfamiliar with the scent profile or are purchasing for the first time as we do not accept returns.

** Items marked with ** in the name do not qualify for USPS shipping. Sizes over 30 mL will incur a hazmat fee for shipping on these products for non-ground shipping.
