Botanical family: Lamiaceae

This Lavender Essential Oil differs from standard Lavandula angustifolia in its softness. It is less complex, and more linear in scent. The odor as a whole is more sweet, and less herbacious.

Constituent Specfications: Linalool Content is lower, which provides fresher and sweeter floral attributes. Linalyl Acetate (50-55%) content is higher, contributing to green and citrus facets, as well as slight mint/caraway notes. Borneol is higher in Lavender Diva at about 1.2%, which will give a camphoraceous piney undertone./ Terpinene-4-ol is at 1.5% and 3-Octanone is present at about 0.3% causing Diva to lack vegetative, earth, mushroom-like notes. The dry-down of this lavender will have a potent spicy/clove effect due to Beta-Caryophyllene being present at about 6.5%.
