"Rose essential oil is not soluble at 10% in alcohol at temperatures lower than 20°C (68°F), and must be heated for perfect solubility.
This is due to Stearoptenes content naturally present in rose essential oil. Presence of this component is a sign of quality, because it is intrinsic of this oil."
